The Flame Within is an Indigenous-owned training and facilitation practice offering workshops, coaching, healing-centered spaces, and educational content rooted in trauma-informed, land-based, and culturally grounded approaches. By using this website, booking services, or participating in any of our offerings, you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions.
2. Service Terms

All offerings are subject to availability.

Services are intended for personal and/or professional development only and do not substitute for clinical mental health care.

Workshop content may include themes of trauma, identity, culture, and healing. Participation is always voluntary.
3. Booking & Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Accepted payment methods include e-transfer, credit card, or through the website’s secure checkout.

Sliding scale and community-access pricing is available upon request and at the discretion of the facilitator.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

Cancellations made 7+ days in advance are eligible for full refund.

Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable but may be rescheduled.

No-shows are non-refundable.

Emergencies will be handled with compassion and discretion.
5. Code of Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services for any participant who:

Disrupts the safety or wellbeing of the group

Harasses or disrespects facilitators or other participants

Violates the confidentiality agreements of any program
This includes online, land-based, and hybrid offerings.
6. Confidentiality & Use of Materials

All training and workshop materials are the intellectual property of The Flame Within and may not be distributed, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

Personal stories shared during workshops are confidential and must not be shared outside the space unless explicit permission is granted.
7. Technology & Accessibility

We strive to make our services accessible both in-person and online.

Technical difficulties experienced during virtual events will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Participants are responsible for ensuring their internet connection and tech readiness for online programs.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted to the site, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
